Frequently Asked Questions:

What can I do if my mailbox needs to be replaced?

Answer: Unfortunately, the parts for our mailboxes are no longer available. The HOA board has found a similar style mailbox for replacement. Full Mailbox Post: Winslow 5 in. x 5 in. Fluted Mailbox Post in white, Model # PP250WH. It can be purchased from Home Depot or online. Please be aware that you’ll need to remove the old 6x6 (nominal) ground post and install a new 4x4 (nominal) post for mounting a new mailbox. We could not find a new model to fit the old mounting post, unfortunately. So be sure to plan your mailbox install project time accordingly. And don't forget to call 811 before you dig to avoid cutting any utility lines!!!

Replacement Cap: If you’ve lost your cap (finial), you may replace it with a 6x6 nominal white post cap from atlantapostcaps.com, SKU:T6whtpyr, such as this one.

What do I do about unburied internet/fiber cables?

If it's your own cable that did not get buried, work with the provider to get it done. If it's not yours, and it's been more than 30 days, the city of Durham has a list of numbers to contact on this site: https://durhamnc.gov/1624/Gigabit-Fiber-Construction
