Lyon's Farm

Lyon's Farm Subdivision was established in 2004, Lyon's Farm is a small, 100 home subdivision located in Southwest Durham, North Carolina. Surrounded by woodlands and nestled between Chapel Hill, the Research Triangle Park, and Jordan Lake, our community combines the amenities of modern suburbia with the peace and quiet of cul-de-sac life.

Web Site Purpose

This website is primarily designed for Lyon's Farm residents as a portal for communicating information regarding our community. Community members can access all pages on this site by simply clicking on the menu buttons on the left side of this page and then entering their user and password where prompted.

The HOA Board would like to help make Lyon's Farm a 'Fantastic Subdivision' - We can make our home community 'Awesome ' If we 'Come Together' and work to improve our subdivision. The LFHOA Board is seeking the help of our community residents in the form of volunteers, who would become 'Subject Matter Experts' 'SME' volunteers who would hold positions to oversee specific responsibilities within the community and manage to completion 'Projects' that would make our subdivison 'Awesome' - Please select the Projects 2010 - 11 link to the left to 'check it out' please review all the available 'SME' opportunities / descriptions and Please really consider stepping up to the plate and participate in something great. Lyon's Farm Residents

We (the HOA Board of Directors) established this site so that residents can share information between themselves and have easy access to information concerning our community.

The HOA Government section has contact information for the Board of Directors and Committee Chairs, as well as information on meetings and Meeting Minutes.

The Community Events section has the calendar that shows all of our past and future events, such as social events, HOA meetings, etc. If you want to submit an event to be added to the calendar, please send the date and details to the Site Administrator using the link at the bottom of this page!

The FAQ section has answers to the questions most often asked the Board. We will add to this as time goes by. If you have a suggestion for inclusion in the FAQ, please send it to the Site Administrator.

The Service Directory section contains contact info for companies you may find useful regarding services available in our subdivision - stuff like utilities, television, etc. This section is not password protected.

From time to time, the Board may solicit the HOA membership for their opinion on an issue or initiative. The Surveys and Polls section is where we'll do that. We'll send all registered residents an email directing them to this section. If you're the kind of person that doesn't read your email very often, you may want to check this section each time you log on to see if there's a survey you haven't taken yet. You can even submit ideas for creating a survey in this section!

The View or Place Ads section allows you to see or place ads for personal sale items, garage sales, services offered, lost and found, etc.
